Born on the sub tropical beaches of the Southern Natal Coast of South Africa in 2001, Hibiscus Coast hammocks have, in just a few short years, become known as a company dedicated to providing world class products using traditional methods and the finest materials available.
Our hammocks are designed to provide comfort and ease of use and our stands are designed from internationally accepted standards and style and have featured in a number of publications, most recently the front cover of the prestigious South African Home Owner magazine.
All the materials used in the manufacture of our products are sourced locally and the efficient use of conscientious local labour results in a quality South African product that represents excellent value for money on any continent.

All hammocks are constructed with a combination of 100% heavy duty bull denim and cotton hopsack.
The main bed of the hammock in bull denim is attached to the hopsack and combines strength with comfort to enable the traditional manipulation of the weave of the hopsack to give authenticity to our products.
The clew ropes are manufactured to our specifications from 100% cotton for natural look and enhanced with a nylon core for strength.
The clew rings are also manufactured with the same quality cotton but strengthened even further with a 5mm braided nylon core. The hammocks are available with or without fringing and are available in a standard range of colours.
